Pearson VUE maximizes potential of ‘Deep Learning’ talent in Japan through new partnership with JDLA

Tokyo, Japan — February 16, 2021

Pearson VUE, the global leader in computer-based testing, announced today that it will be delivering computer-based exams for the Japan Deep Learning Association (JDLA).

The JDLA is a non-profit organization, aiming to promote Deep Learning technology as a driving force to support the competitiveness of Japanese companies on the global stage. ‘Deep Learning’ is a machine learning technique that teaches computers to do what comes naturally to humans. Many leading technology companies are increasingly requiring certified professionals in the field of Deep Learning to better analyse data and then extract insights from patterns within it. Analysis of customer behaviour is just one area in which Deep Learning is helping organizations to improve their products and services.

The JDLA offers two types of certification, which are pursued by both business professionals and junior engineers; the ‘Deep Learning Certificate for GENERAL’, which validates candidates’ Deep Learning expertise in a real business environment and the ‘Deep Learning Certificate for ENGINEER’, which evaluates more advanced deep learning knowledge and how to implement those skills in that environment.

We are pleased to be supporting JDLA in developing crucial talent in Deep Learning technologies. We look forward to supporting its mission of further growing Japan's industrial competitiveness through offering its test-takers flexible and convenient ways to take their certification exam.
